Standard Paper Remittance Suppression

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requests Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) test and remit items and perform other regular function with regard to a change where Shared System Maintainers (SSMs) are to suppress the issuance of Standard Paper Remittance (SPR) advices for some suppliers or providers who have a history of receiving Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) transactions for 45 days or more.
