Prepayment Review Tracking and Upload
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requests Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) track prepayment reviews and upload prepayment review activity to the Recovery Audit Data Warehouse before the 15th of each calendar month. Guidance for tracking prepayment reviews has been delivered through CR8175, CR8224 and CR8225, and chapter 3, section 3.5.4 of Pub. 100-08.
