Payment Revisions For Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Disposable Devices

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requests Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) review and utilize clarifications and revisions to policies around payments for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) disposable devices, while also implementing changes to the methodology used to calculate outlier payments to HHAs under the 2017 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) final rule (81 FR 76702).
