Preventing Hospice Claims With Future Date in Date Field

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requests Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) review protocols to prevent the acceptance of hospice claims with a future date in the date field. The contractor shall create an edit and return such notices with a future date to a provider.
